Port Douglas and beyond

After four nights at Kurrimine which included some great day trips around the wet tropics we made our way to Port Douglas for our first holiday from our holiday.

Tully Gorge

Kurrimine Beach

In Port Douglas we stayed at a nice resort
Was wet on and off till the last day. A local in Innisfail told us they had only two really sunny days in the last six months so one in seven for us is pretty good 😊
We toured out to the reef, great visibility but tough wind and currents. We also day tripped to Mossman gorge and had an excellent guided Ngadiku Dreamtime walk.
We also ate extremely well.

From Port Douglas we headed west out to Chillagoe. No rain out west .  Great spot exploring caves and old smelter site.
